Victorian style bulldog inkwell

A charming late 20th century Victorian-style bulldog inkwell sculpture, crafted from bronze and carved wood. This adorable piece is full of character and detail, featuring an upright seated pose with beautifully defined wrinkles, expressive facial features, and muscular front legs.

The head lifts to reveal a bronze-lined interior designed to hold ink, making this both a decorative and functional piece. Dating to the 1970s, it bears an indistinct maker’s mark underneath. Intricate hand-carved detailing throughout further enhances its unique appeal and collectible charm.

 Please note he is missing both eyes, has a crack above one front leg and some scratches which adds to his aged character and vintage appeal.
